No. There is always a price to be paid either way.

I posted earlier, more of my female friends are marrying Europeans and moving to their countries; that sweet health care, free or low cost University for their kids, and lots of vacation can't be beat. They aren't jealous of thai hotties.

I am an American woman married into a SE Asian family, and it’s treated as a major prestigious accomplishment by my husband and his other cousins who managed to marry women of European descent. Now of course I think it’s creepy by the idea they aren’t interested in Americans?? Absurd. [/quote]
