I’m reading this thread with interest. What would be acceptable to this group? Would it only be acceptable to say You’re right, no person 50 or older could be considered hot or even attractive. By that age you must throw in the towel and resign yourself to a life of quiet dignity wearing velour tracksuits and pining over the grandkids all day? In reality, at 51 I’m running around in jeans juggling work, teen kids, and a busy social life with hubby. It might not be “hot,” but it’s not geriatric.
I think what is reasonable is that there is more to life than "being hot". I work out, eat healthy and am kind. My H/W and I love each other and that is very attractive to me. I dress nice because I like to not because I want to be hot to some stranger. In reality, most people were never hot and that is okay. Nobody needs to wear elephant leg pants if you like skinny jeans. It's okay that you have wrinkles around your eyes, you neck is loose, and your elbows look like elephant knees. Sure you stomach is flat, good for you but who cares the skin on top of it is old and unattractive, get a flat stomach if it feels good but not because you think it is hot. Work more on your inner self than your outer self, you will be much happier person all around.
