[/quote] good to hear. Trying to convince my high stats DC who wants to major in CS that they will be fine at UMD. DC is at a magnet: 1580 SAT, all 5s on APs except the foreign language one (bombed that one), unw GPA 4.0. UMD is a safety to DC. I told DC UMD isn't really a safety for their stats, but that's what they think. And I think because it's a safety, and also the location is in our "backyard", DC doesn't want to go there. But I told them they'd be dumb to pass it up, especially if they get Banneker Key. But maybe I'm wrong. Maybe with those stats UMD is a safety for CS? IDK. [/quote]
