OMG we are opposite people, I feel ill just looking at that tray. Peeling back the lid is like peeking around the corner in a horror movie. The roll that tastes like air-conditioning. The whole plane smells of rubbery noodles and curry. And you're trapped there with your tray of unmentionables in your lap until they come to collect it. [/quote]

Here's mine-- taking that Biscoffi and tucking it in your purse for later when you are up before everyone with a hotel coffee and need that morning ginger/shortbread nibble. Ordering ginger ale or juice which I never drink otherwise. Spreading the butter on the crackers and ignoring the roll. [/quote]

Oh, me too, me too!! Airline food means that no health rules apply. I use every bit of the butter, slathering it on everything.  A tiny packet of black pepper? Hmmm, what can i sprinkle it on? A small packet of ketchup? Squeeze it out!!!  Mayo packet too? What? Where am I? Business class?  Yes, I will have sprite and a water! Of course, fill my cup with your mystery tea...and a water, please. Of course I want the cookie. Every small sealed snack is in my handbag.  Yes, yes, a bloody mary will be great...AND a water! Orange juice from concentrate that tastes like fanta, and a water, please!  I must not get dehydrated.

And I am a neat eater. My empty tray when I return it back is so neat and so very cute. I have to hold back myself from making tiny origami out of the torn foil, plastic and paper. Thank you, air hostess! I appreciate you!  I marvel how they packed everything so nicely in such  small containers.  I wonder why we have all kinds of food combo on the tray? Olives and aachaar? Parantha and a roll too?  Baklava and custard? Yogurt and frittata? So I try every weird combo possible and it all tastes pretty great. Do you think people on the ground who look up and see the airplane flying in the sky,  realize that we are having a feast up there? I think not![/quote]
