1. Taking my boys to Wrestlemania. They had a blast and the atmosphere was electric. 2. Mowing the lawn and painting. I love the instant impact. 3. Cruises. The absolute easiest, stress free vacation. Lounging around staring at the blue sea with a frozen drink is bliss. Dressing up for dinner and live music is fun. Never having to pull out your wallet on vacation is amazeballs. 4. Driving. I love driving with my family. We have the best conversations and adventures.
What about norovirus and the whole ship vomitting excessively? That puts me off. Also not being able to "get off" whenever I like, being literally stuck, on a ship.
We’ve never gotten sick on a cruise. We avoid the buffet, wash our hands, etc. We tend to do port-heavy itineraries, so we have numerous beach days. You get off the boat after breakfast and hire a private driver or charter or boat for the day. We always head away from the crowds and end up on remote beaches for the day. Back on the ship around 4:30 to shower and relax before dinner and evening activities. Sea days are lovely too. Sleep in, coffee on the balcony, sit-down breakfast followed by lounging on a quiet deck watching the sea. I’ll whist to a more lively deck to listen to live music, get a snack, etc.
