Private school in Anne Arundel County is a different beast than public schools in Anne Arundel County, especially if we’re talking about the Key School, Severn School, Spalding, Indian Creek, and St. Mary’s High School. They don’t only take Black PG families, but also plenty of white Anne Arundel families (a significant number of whom even live in some of the more desirable school districts like Severna Park) who don’t want their kids going to school with the “rednecks.” I actually know a white family in Severna Park who specifically dodged the public schools there because they’re “too Trumpy” and send their kids to Key. That being said, there’s no shortage of kids living in $1M+ homes in many of the county’s public schools either. [/quote]
