OP here. My kid is at Langley. It feels like everyone takes at least 10 AP so that would not be considered rigorous. I hate that my kid is at this pressure cooker school.

OP, I really don't think any school in this area (public or private) is not a pressure cooker for top students. This is really not a question for DCUM. Ask you counselor if your child's transcript will be marked most rigorous.  You, as a parent, have a lot of control over how much of a "pressure cooker" your child feels. Help your kid find a couple of schools that they like that they will be admitted to. Don't focus on top 50 schools only. There are thousands of schools that your kid can get into easily. Find a good fit for them.[/quote]
