My DD had some FCPS award winning teachers who did exactly that. And when I expressed concern about her reading, they noted that she seems to have anxiety…. Yes, because she doesn’t know how to read and you aren’t teaching her. She just spent two years at a private school for dyslexic kids learning to read and now reads mostly at grade level. [/quote]
