I agree. Nature abhors a vacuum and the Republicans saw an opportunity and exploited it. Upthread someone mentioned a firehouse of nonstop right wing propaganda that is not refuted, if Dems go in and listen to what communities want and need and do what they do best and actually assist people with finding solutions to their problems, this will turn around.
