Bill Campbell when he was on the school board. He ran for council in the last election and lost (apparently not one of Wilson's anointed east end cabal).

Perfectly nice guy - he was one of the few school board members from that time that was actually nice to parents. Just too trusting of ACPS consultants (one of whom screamed at me at the same meeting) and probably the rest of the Alexandria political establishment. [/quote]
