And the natives are losers.  Why else live in DC if it’s not for work?   DC isn’t a city like NY where people actually want to live and visit.  It’s a company town.  It’s almost worse to grow up in DC, go away to college and then decide that you want to return.  [/quote]

Why so much disdain for DC Natives?  Is NYC the only place the natives are acceptable to you?  That’s just sad.  Makes me wonder if you have any friends, and if they detect your feeling of superiority (by birth location … what a weird thing to feel superior about ). [/quote]
