It's disingenuous to say we have been going down for 20 years we have not.  2013 was a dip but this year isn't even a spike, it's only a spike compared to the lowest years. Crime is high everywhere, crime here is low in comparison... in comparison to the rest of the US, in comparison to most years in the last 20 years. [/quote]

Your logic is flawed.

If anti-trans bigotry was low, then fell to an even lower level and had a slight spike to the previous low level I would not freak out.
