The most informed thinking is that it was a boat or submersible explosive device below the bridge. The explosive force came upward and lifted the road bed off the pylons mostly intact. If it was a missile, you'd see more crumbling and smaller pieces. The explosion was timed for exactly when the fuel train was traveling above - that is no coincidence.[/quote]

Agree on the missile - found that the least plausible source of all the ones floated.

I've read a few articles on how the possible boat/submersible would have had to be pretty darn big for such impact.

Timing is everything and pretty darn flawless here.

Finally, and maybe I am looking in the wrong places, I find it amazing that there is no talk of how this act was executed by a suicide bomber(s). Basically zero. [/quote]
