Now look at her current jaw line---totally clean.  No jowls at all.  Her face shape has even changed.

It's fine, she's a professional actress who has to be on camera for a living. Most actresses have also had nose jobs and get Botox and fillers at some point. I would too if that were my job.

I still think she's a good example of someone who has allowed her face to age. Would she look older with the jowels? Yes. Would she look ugly? NO. She's still be a beautiful older woman who embraces her actual looks and isn't trying to hide her wrinkles or gray hair. It's still inspirational.

Also, Diane Keaton has jowels and is beautiful. She's also allowed her neck to age. Yes, she styles herself in ways that don't highlight these parts of her body (turtlenecks, wears her hear down) but you can still see it and she isn't trying to will it away with procedures even though she obviously has the means:
