Sorry but teachers are not qualified to teach everything. I know it hurts your feeling. But leadership is needed in the real world and academia is not the real world. Teachers don’t have any experience in a business, they are rarely educated enough to teach most things.

Who love the seven habits are usually the dumb ones. Personally I hate the whole philosophy of leadership and teaching people how to be leaders. Lots of really smart people are introverts and thinkers. Not leaders. It is weird how we always seem to reward the loudest most annoying person in the Erin in America.[/quote]

I assume the poster is either trolling or is working for LiM in some way.  It has been miserable to deal with at most levels in MCPS.   It seems OK for younger age groups in ES but from 5th grade on up, the presentations are very lame and scripted.   They just reused most of the ES materials for older ages.

My understanding is that Leader in Me was chosen over other programs since they said it had curriculum for ES, MS and HS.  Reality is far different and MCPS has been hoodwinked.[/quote]
