Last year, mine read a number of American classics, including F Scott Fitzgerald, Harper Lee, Toni Morrison, James Baldwin, etc. The year before that, she read Shakespeare, English poetry, and parts of the Bible. People on this board are completely exaggerating the imbalance of the GDS literature curriculum. [/quote]
