It’s not really mind blowing that a single old woman still out on the dating market is desperate, though. To the OP’s point, nobody ever said 40 year olds couldn’t get sex. But actually finding committed love rather than being a nurse or a purse through old age is the difficult thing. Men are men no matter how old we get.
