The preferred (by non-jerks) term is "died by suicide," not "committed suicide"[/quote] Then call me a jerk. That's what I've heard all my life. Died by suicide dies sound much better and more respectful.[/quote] I had always thought of the "commit" language as a result of being a sin -- and I didn't grow up in a church -- I like died by suicide much better.
