Something similar happened to my brother.  A coworker’s husband attacked him in the office lobby and hit him so badly he needed surgery. Turns out the woman wanted a divorce and there were clearly some abuse/mental health struggles. Her husband started following her and became convinced there was another man, and honed in on my brother when he saw them walking out of work together one day. My brother had to go on short term disability. He wasn’t allowed to speak to his coworker due to the active court proceedings and HR didn’t really know what to do. I think she ended up leaving that job soon after. [/quote]
