No, not when there is an election. And if he really cares or knows about MoCo politics and elections, he should have known or anticipated that the election result would drag out to several days or week(s).

I’m leadership, optics matter. A leader “surveying” storm damage in person or going to the scene of a shooting to meet the victims family has zero practical value. And yet it is very important. It’s interesting that Blair cannot see this nor the people knee jerk defending him here who are probably paid by the campaign.

In summary, it’s a bad look and he knows it.

No. I don’t think this is on anyone’s radar at all.  No voter is sitting around wondering why he isn’t in MoCo. When everyone else is on vacation.

It’s not his fault the primary was pushed into the height  of summer.
