More people die in Florida, even without covid, because over a fifth of its population is over 65.  It has the second oldest population in the US.

Yet its covid death heat map looks similsr to Texas, which has one of the youngest populations in the US (3rd youngest).

This is total BULLSHIT. 
DeSantis did indeed protect the seniors.  You are confusing him with Cuomo (NY), Murphy (NJ), Wolf (PA), and Whitmer (MI), all of whom placed COVID + patients in nursing homes.  
DeSantis did just the opposite.  He ensured nursing homes were the first to get PPE and protected them as well as we knew how at the time.  [/quote]
