I won’t give details of the offenses because I don’t want to make myself identifiable. Some of my colleagues were very publicly harassed, to the point of having to file restraining orders. Admin is terrified of parents and looks the other way. This shortage isn’t about the superintendent or hiring practices (although mcps has a long history of preferring to hire brand new teachers), this is teacher burnout en masse.
