Yes!  My mom had aggressively straight hair and didn’t know what to do with my curls.  I’m a few years older thanChelsea and the hair product world is a very different place than it was 20+ years ago.  My hair looked crazy and frizzy until my mid-20s when I finally learned how to style it.  [/quote]

I knew what PP meant. I have a friend with hair that's always perfectly straight, no matter what. It holds no curl or wave at all, even if she braids it while it's wet and sleeps. The next morning it will be as straight as if I blow dried my own hair. That's what I thought of - hair so straight it rejects curl.[/quote]
