The school officer in Uvalde could not stop the armed shooter from entering the school and slaughtering a classroom of children. SROs are not the answer here.
+1 (this has also been true at other schools)
+2. The Good Guy With A Gun Who Saves The Day is a Right Wing myth.
+ 1 million (skipping all the ++++ in between).
Who killed the shooter?
It certainly wasn’t any SRO or law enforcement at arrived right away. They were too coward to confront the shooter and waited 1 hour for tactical backup.
I truly do not understand why police officers are not rising up against the US allowance of personal assault weapons. I wish they would start speaking up about completely banning these types of guns. We need to stop these mass murders, and as Uvalde has shown us, cops with guns are simply not a match for killers with AR-15s and body armor.
Check what is 8n the back of a squad car.
