Actually I think she (and Kristin Wiig, whom I still miss seeing on the show) are IN the top tier of all time. Both able to melt away into their characters. Huge versatility and range of characters, too.

We really need a sketch comedy show that isn't SNL. I know there have been some on streaming services I haven't got, probably, or online somewhere, but...SNL is such a behemoth it gets to define sketch comedy for a lot of people, when we need some competition for it. I have seen a little of "Portlandia" with SNL alum Fred Armisen and liked what I saw because it had its own tone and voice. Key and Peele was great but is long gone, unfortunately. Would LOVE to see Kristin Wiig and Kate McKinnon creating new characters on a sharp sketch show. [/quote]
