Apples to Oranges.[/quote] New poster on this thread here to observe that many immigrants who come to this country (and then DC) for economic opportunity, safety, or freedom have themselves “been living under systemic racism for generations.” Not to take away from the grievances of the “native born” or say one tragedy is the same or worse than the other, but often the experiences of immigrants are not so dissimilar up to a point. Both require care and commendation when improving their positions. [/quote]
