You need help. You really do. It’s not good to live like this.
You need help given we are in a surge and you are still a Covid denier.
DP, whose son just had COVID - you really do have problems, PP. The data OVERWHELMINGLY show that COVID is mild for the vast majority of children. In kids who are vaccinated, even more so. You can find the random clickbait headlines all you want, but over two years in, we know this much is true. OP, my son was nauseated for a few hours, and then with some gatorade and crackers, he was fine. Bounced off the walls for his entire isolation period. He's 8 and fully vaccinated.
Good for your DS. Now, just get a complete wellness check done along with a heart checkup. Too many young and old are dropping like ripe fruits all over the world.
Young children are not routinely dropping from COVID all over the world. What is wrong with you?
A lot of kids have died all over the world from covid. What is wrong with you? 13,400 https://data.unicef.org/topic/child-survival/covid-19/
Bigger threats than COVID to kids: Suicide Substance use Parental abuse/neglect Accidents Diarrhea Famine Shall I go on? You can focus endlessly, obsessively on COVID as long as you want to. That doesn’t make you correct or even a caring person.
Really, you are the ultimate covid denier. Here's an idea. Instead of wasting your time denying covid and intentionally harming people, get your kids therapy and help fi they are suicidal, use substances or parental abuse/neglect. And, supervise them better to prevent accidents. And, go to Amazon.com for some pepto. And, for all of humanity, feed your kids. Plenty of free resources.
Enough with this screaming “Covid denier” anytime someone doesn’t agree with a Shanghai style lockdown and masking indefinitely. Just because someone has made an intelligent risk/benefit analysis and has decided to move on with life (as the majority of the US has), this does not make them a Covid denier. Not even close.
If they are saying covid is no big deal or not caring abotu the impact it has they are covid deniers. Especially when they bring up other issues that have nothing to do with covid and have always existed.
So now you’re going to change the definition of denier to suit your needs. Ok. If that helps you sleep at night. I had Covid. I know many people who have had it. I fully believe it exists, and has impacted many people. But for the majority of people it is no big deal. It really isn’t. Acknowledging this in no way makes me a Covid denier. But I truly understand it does give you some sense of control and power to think that. But FYI, you’re wrong.
