The culture in Norway is much more about the government being in control and providing benefits as opposed to the family unit.  A lot of couples aren’t even married before they have kids and most benefits come from the government.  It’s a different way of living.  [/quote]

How?   It’s absolutely accurate.

There are so many rules and laws in Norway.  There are even laws about how long cows have to be outside each day.

It’s absolutely a fact that the government provides most of the benefits.  Also that a lot of educated people aren’t married before having kids.  Women tend to be more independent and culturally Norwegian men don’t support women.  There isn’t a lot of benefit to the average woman to getting married since parental leave is provided by the government and most couples split their housing payments 50/50.  [/quote]
