Administrator was placing her in Kindergarten as a teacher. There was no evidence that her skills were needed. There’s data to prove that. There’s already a K reading specialist. The data didn’t support the move either. Administrator would t budge.

Dr G filed for a transfer citing a hostile work environment. HR determined no hostile work environment and refused a transfer. Told her to file a grievance (after she tried mediation but again, admin was set).

Grievance filed and she wanted to fight for her job. Dr G was waiting for the process to start when HR called her (last Thurs) and told her she would be transferred to W-L to oversee reading program (but she’s a highly trained elementary school reading specialist) because it now deemed a hostile work environment. Her last day (after 12 years) would be the following day (Fri). Leaving the school without a much needed resource , and beloved teacher, at a critical time of year helping kids and staff with end of year assessments and SOL prep.

Then Friday came and she was escorted out of the building and put on administrative leave. Awaiting grievance hearing…
