Ok, remove the second, useful set of stairs because of some assumed value judgment you have assigned to some previous occupants you don't know, haven't met, and whose perspective you know nothing about.

But in the meantime I still employ people to do the things I don't want to do, however I am now allowing them the luxury of having to walk the long way around to scrub my toilets rather than taking the direct path up the back stairs.[/quote]
