[/quote] Yep, it's "hot drinks," the interpretation of which varies from person to person. The church has released an official statement that says caffeinated sodas are permitted as they are typically served cold. They haven't said anything about iced coffee or tea but since it's meant to be served "iced" (unlike a cup of hot tea that has sat out and gone cold, which was meant to be served hot) many Mormons allow it. You'll notice that when drinking caffeinated drinks, Mormons will add often add heaps of ice to be safe. :)[/quote]
