That's strange when I look at the SAT average for the largest cohort common to Blair and the W's Blair scores higher.

Blair is puffing up their numbers using magnet kids. 44% of the Blair graduating class doesn't even take an AP/IB exam at all (worse than Churchill 22%, Poolesville 24%, Whitman 16%, WJ 29%, Wootton 22%).  Blair has approximately 400 (100 / year) magnet program students. This means that 263 non-magnet students took AP exams out of 592 non-magnet graduates. This means that when you subtract out the Magnet program from Blair HS, 56% of the students didn't take an AP exam. [/quote]
