[/quote] Not generally in a modern Orthodox community, but in ultra orthodox communities, matchmaking is a really important process. People are always trying to set people up, once they turn 21 or so (18+ for girls in ultra-orthodox communities). But if you arent married by whatever age, they just keep looking. Some Rabbis (more likely Rabbis' wives) engage in matchmaking, others dont.[/quote]
