I'm fed up with the terrible customer service that's still being passed off as pandemic related. That excuse was fine in 2020 and 2021, but it's 2022. If your business is still struggling with getting employees and providing the service you offer - the whole reason you're in business - then it's no longer the fault of the pandemic; it's your fault for being a shitty manager and/or business owner.
+1 on the bolded. Customer service, increased prices, supply chain issues. But to the thread topic, my personal "I don't care" casualty is my career. I don't care about it, so I downshifted to a lower paying, less stressful position. I might regret it someday but it was a self realization that could not be ignored. Also, I don't care about getting together with people that I don't want to get together with, and I'm not going to do it UNLESS I have to to avoid hurting someone else. Example: a social event (wedding) that I didn't want to attend but I forced myself to go with a good attitude because I didn't want to disappoint a friend.
