They must have anticipated the low turnout based on a lack of registrations for the 2023s and made the decision prior to the actual tryout to create a combined DC/MD/VA team. No committed player at these age groups should be playing on these AS and UA teams. These teams should be made up of uncommitted players only at this age group. No college coaches want to watch other commits. There should be events specific to those who have committed.[/quote]

There are several committed showcases and a much better opportunity for their future coaches to see them play with/against their committed peers.[/quote]
