That's a good question.

And part of me wants to answer that the old bay website precludes me from voting for him.

But part of it is that he feels like more of the same, or, to be blunt and maybe insensitive, I think he'll prioritize the needs of his special needs kids over the greater needs of the community.

He basically even said that on Twitter in the recent mask debate.  He said, I think my daughter needs them to stay protected, so i would vote to keep the mandate.

As a parent he's certainly allowed to feel that way, but tbh, I didn't love the way he framed it.

newsflash: Special needs kids are part of the community.  Something that silvestre fails to understand as well.

but his statement on masknig was: I feel like my daughter needs everyone to mask to protect her.

It was more about his framing his decision making on whats best for his daughter, not that his daughter has autism[/quote]
