I think you’ll find at least a couple of kids on each VLC team who have either late birthdays or started kindergarten later, but you won’t find blatant reclassing of entire teams like what’s becoming a standard in NY, MD and for all of the “National” club teams. Bigger, faster and stronger kids are always great to have on a team, but it doesn’t seem like VLC is a “win at all costs” club. HS open player evals probably means they’re trying to fill some gaps in their HS teams. Especially the teams that came over from Cavs. Another nice thing about VLC is that they’ll typically allow anyone to come and try out at any given time.
