They didn't "suddenly converge" - they have been in DC for years, but they also don't constitute any majority.  It's a single digit percentage.  But they are here.  There are some far right folks in Southwest as well (was a popular area for Trump staffers) and I am sure there are pockets of them elsewhere in DC as well.[/quote]
