This remains to be seen. If cases surge and you've got lots of teachers and students out right after the mask mandates are lifted, and/or[b] folks end up having to cancel their spring break because their kids get COVID[/b] that's not going to go over well. He would have done much better by letting districts decide locally. [/quote]

But they won’t cancel.  They really don’t care about COVID or the health of others.  They’ll just hop on a plane without a mask and go.  And if we have a surge that results in teachers being out, they wo’t care if their kids are virtual so long as they are virtual in school.  See?  That’s how it works.  It was never about being v ritual; it was about being in school.[/quote]
