eeeewwww.  I can only imagine the high self-esteem of your child who has to put up with your negative and hugely judgmental mind-set on a daily basis.  If stuck in a car with you every day to and from school, I would probably want to jump in the nearest available cab.  I would love to see:  (1) you attending therapy to deal with your obviously very deeply seated issues regarding parenting; and (2) you challenging your notion that your kids owe you anything at all, now or in your retirement years, because you think you are taking care of them the way you should.  You seem to heave a lot of issues and resentment.  Good luck to you.[/quote]
