I imagine people in Wisconsin have appropriate winter weather gear, right?

There are kids in this area who don't actually have a winter coat...let alone whatever LL Bean/Columbia/Patagonia fancy pants coats you people wear in the hinterlands.

And regardless of the fancy gear, there's no way a baby or toddler is comfortable being rapidly pushed in a baby jogger while his crazy mommy jogs in this weather. [/quote]

You do know that L.L Bean, Columbia and Patagonia are both easily available in the D.C area right? They don’t refuse to ship to places with mild winters, and even have stores here…

My baby (now 16M)  has been outside every day of her life since birth, because fresh air and outside light is good for babies. She has a snowsuit and wears wool socks and mittens. I don’t jog but a baby with a healthy mother, who gets fresh air daily, is in much better health than a baby kept inside.[/quote]
