This may have been the toughest year ever for UMD applications. The volume of applications has exploded at so many flagships all over the U.S. But being a legacy, with such good stats really hurts. There are other good schools in Maryland!! Did she apply to SMCM or UMDBC? Both great schools!! Your DC will be fine, OP!
