I don’t know anything about surrogacy, so forgive my ignorance. But doesn’t harvesting eggs involve a lot of hormones and resultant weight gain? So using her own eggs would have “ruined” her figure anyway?

Anyway that makes me sick just typing it out. I don’t think any woman’s figure is ruined by having children, and I think it’s very sad our society views mothers and older women as undesirable. Even sadder that the women on here are perpetuating this belief.

I find it weird that the articles are saying Priyanka didn't have fertility issues. She's gained so much weight presumably from infertility treatment. She also might have a thyroid issue based on her goiter. Either way, I find it so weird she is trying to preserve her body via surrogacy. She's already gained so much weight compared to the usual Hollywood starlet and she's no longer on TV. She's mostly behind the scenes with her business ventures. It makes no sense other than maybe she thinks admitting fertility and health issues makes her less of a woman.[/quote]
