Ugh. I work with a bunch of martyrs so if we have to use unscheduled leave, I will be the only person on my team calling in because even getting out of my neighborhood would be too treacherous, let alone actually getting on the busier roads with all these other cars sliding every which way. Everyone else on my team will be like...we made poor decisions and risked the lives of everyone around us to come do work that honestly could have waited another day, because we are SO DEDICATED TO THE MISSION...why didn't you?[/quote]

Coworker of martyrs here. I'm burning a day of annual leave. Other than a teammate who lives in Fredericksburg and commutes up 95, who I am sure must have called out today, I have no idea what others on my team chose to do. I half expect to show up tomorrow and hear that the Fredericksburg commuter spent 3-4 hours each way today taking back roads just to prove dedication to the cause.[/quote]
