You are going to be shredded here Op, but I promise you what you describe happens *way, way more* than most people think. Most men are very good at keepig their mouth shut when they are getting what they want and if you truly just want affection and really don't care about a relationship- it can almost certainly be yours.
Shredded because no woman on DCUM has ever sinned or done anything to bring shame. Every single woman is as pure as the driven snow.
No, not at all but this is deep betrayal on multiple levels and it's potentially very destructive. To the prior poster who asked how some of us know so much about it if we never did it, well... my response is: Because it happened in our larger friend group. We saw the betrayed brought to their knees in deep pain, in our friend group the guy who cheated was suicidal. Their secret became known to most of the town and there was a lot of deep pain. People took sides and the couples were MORTIFIED. It affected all of us which is mind-boggling right?? You're screwing this guy secretively for months, happy as a clam and secure in your bubble and then it all shockingly comes out and hits the fan. It affects all the couples. Learn something about how it can go. It's not pretty.
Sounds about right. It’s what I saw happen when two married idiots decided to implode two marriages (albeit unwittingly). Both cowards thought they’d never get caught and they never in their wildest imagination could see the destruction, pain and mess it made to everyone -kids, friends, extended families, etc. To this day, nobody looks at them or thinks of the same way again—-no matter how much self work they did and remorse they expressed. They are tainted. Their reputation pretty much destroyed. Nobody trusts them completely anymore. There’s a bit of “I can’t believe they were that devious/slimy to their partner…even if the partner took them back. It ruins a future, past and present.
