[/quote] And before you come back with more "free speech" blathering, he wouldn't be fired for his speech. He'd be fired for not being able to perform his job functions in a nonbiased manner. His statements clearly indicate he cannot. Speech is free. But not free from consequences. [/quote] +1 as a female, and CS major, this would have made me very very uncomfortable. I would question every bad grade/criticism from him. "Is he being prejiduced against me because I'm a woman"? Free speech has consequences. Personal opinions can and do impact you professionally.[/quote]
