I also am not following your logic on why kids would be wasting their ED around by applying.[/quote] If 20 kids apply ED from the same high school to the same college, there is almost no way that college is taking the majority (ie 11 or even 5) of those applicants. The college guidance offices can steer kids, suggest alternatives etc, but ultimately, the kids decide where they want to apply. The only schools I know of who won't permit this to happen are some of the elite NE boarding schools, who will basically pick and choose who gets to ED where based on the applicant composition and their knowledge of the university's wants/needs.[/quote]
