It was something crazy weighted on a 5 point scale. I had over a 5, even with several Bs and a C. The valedictorian had over a 6.0. I do remember my ACT because we had to pick up our scores from the guidance counselor who also happened to be my track coach. Before handing it to me, she was all like, "Wow! You did great!" ...and it was a couple points lower than I was hoping for. It turned out that it didn't matter at all, but I do remember feeling that crushing disappointment at the time.
