I kind of wonder if it’s all the same person.

I’ve had this thought.  It was about 8 years ago when a bunch of stressful stuff piled on all at once.  And I know that DH has had these thoughts too.

One awesome thing about marriage is that you get to unload some of your stuff onto the other person, and they help share your burden.  But the flip side of that is that you have to take on the other person’s burdens as well.  It usually evens out over time, but there are days/months/years where one or the other of you is taking on a disproportionate amount, and sometimes you just wish the other person was out of your life.  So, yeah, they are late getting home, and instead of hoping that nothing terrible happened, and they weren’t in some horrible car accident, you kind of hope they were.  [/quote]
