Also maybe Mambo sauce from DC. I feel like a lot of regional New York stuff, like Nathan's hot dogs or pizza, couldnt be shipped. Maybe a jar of Raos?
Omg stooooop with the Rao's sauce worship on this board. It's getting ridiculous
How is saying "maybe a jar of raos?" worshipping the stuff? But the fact that you hear it referenced so much on her proves that it is a good regional food
Regional?? What region of the US is that overpriced, overrated sauce from? And just because people are super into it on this board doesn't mean it's actually good.
In New York, duh. And why do you feel so strongly about a pasta sauce brand that you're clueless about? People on here are so bizarre.
Germany has really good Italian food, I don’t think they’d be impressed by a jar of Rao’s
I never had great italian food in germany, but anyway Rao's is perfectly good by any standard so I'm sure they'll like it. Of course, if any area has an overabundance of food, you wouldnt want to pack it (i.e. don't bring Tex-Mex seasoning to Texas) but I've never noticed a huge number of Italian spots in Germany anyway.
